About Me

I have been gaming since 1995 and building computers and networks since then.

I’ve made mods for games like Star Trek Legacy and have done level design for Star Trek Temporal Cold War (discontinued) and made maps for Counter-Strike in the source engine.

I was a software developer/engineer for a local manufacturing company called CPS for five years, until I was offered a position as a Syteline (Cloudsuite) Systems Administrator at the company I currently work for.

In March of 2017, I was diagnosed with diffuse large B-Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

My second round of R-CHOP chemotherapy put me in permanent heart failure, leaving me with chemo induced cardiomyopathy and an ejection fraction of 33% (below 35% is considered heart failure).

I went into remission after my last round of chemo, but had to have Rituxan infusions for two years after.

Currently, my heart ejection fraction has improved!
